Philippine Tragedy Unforeseen

As i was sitting here scribbling, i thought about the world, my country and yes myself! What's going on with the world? Life...."everyday is another story". Just last night, my country was televised worldwide (but not in a good way!) because of the 12-hour hostage drama that happened in one of the Philippines tourist destination (Manila)and sad to say, the victims were tourist itself. A certain ex-police officer who was axed from the service because of some behavioral misconduct air his frustrations by taking a tourist bus with Hongkong Nationals and taking them as hostage and unluckily some didn't survived. The outcome of the hostage was scrutinized by not only the world but also by the filipino people here and abroad. The police(who lacks training in taking over the incident), the media(who televised every move the police has, where infact they know that there was a television in inside the bus???), and people (those bystanders and onlookers who by the way, one got shot!!!) itself in the crime scene was frustrating to watch in the national television. Rants and raves were mushrooming on forums, blogs and social networks as the crime happens!

Personally, i can't blame the Hongkong nationals if they were fumed and upset of what has happened, My heartfelt sympathy goes with the victims, and as a filipino, my heartfelt apology to what has happened... My country is not perfect for that matter and we filipinos are trully God-fearing, loving and hospitable people. NO one in there right state of mind would allow the tragedy to happen if we can just avoid it. I just hope everybody learns from this tragedy, enough of pointing fingers of who's to blame. Let's move on Pinoys! Tomorrow is another story, this time let's make it something that we can be proud of!
